PDF Troubleshooting Guide

  1. Check if the listening service icons are in the hidden toolbar. If you hover your mouse over them they will read “PWListenRYANINV” or the name of your PDF printer.

  2. If they are missing, then you will need to go into the print wizard user interface and start them. a. Start by clicking on the print wizard icon that reads “Print Wizard 4.2 UI” b. Answer the question that pops up “YES” c. Go to “Tools” on the toolbar and click on “Foreground Service Wizard” d. Highlight the listening service that you need started (you may have multiple so repeat this step for each service) and click “Next” and then “Run”. The icon should then appear in the hidden taskbar.

  3. Then test by PDFing an order and seeing if it sends.

  4. If this does not work, or the listening service icons are there and the PDF does not work, then call Polaris Support.
