I think I have a virus on my computer.

These are the first steps you should take if you think you have a virus:

1. NEVER REBOOT! There are a lot of viruses that don’t take effect until a machine is rebooted.

2. Run a manual scan by right clicking on the Trend Icon in your task bar and choose SCAN NOW. Then click on the box beside My Computer to choose everything on your computer.

3. If you are subscribed to Polaris Trend Monitoring Service, call Polaris immediately.

4. If you are not subscribed to Polaris Trend Monitoring Service, call Trend Support immediately at 888-608-1009.
